SBI Clerk exam is conducted annually by the State Bank of India. The exam is conducted for selection of Junior Associate (Customer Support and Sales). Selected candidates are posted to the various branches of SBI spread throughout the country. SBI Clerk salary is INR 19,900 (INR 17,900 plus two advance increments admissible to graduates). Any graduate candidate who are between 20 and 28 years can apply for the exam. Relaxation in the age limit is provided to candidates belonging to different categories. In case you get a blank or zero registration number after the submission of SBI Clerk application form online then it is advised to register again for the exam. Candidates get the blank or zero registration number in case of any technical glitch. Candidates need to fill the application form online only. There is no other means of submitting the application form. SBI Clerk application form fee is INR 750 for the General and OBC categories. However, SC/ ST/ PWD/ XS candidates are exempted from paying the application fees of SBI Clerk. Candidates are not required to send the hard copy of SBI Clerk application form.

SBI Clerk 2026 application form will be released online. It consists of several parts including registration, uploading of scanned photo and sign, completing the application form, uploading the handwritten declaration and left thumb impression and paying the fees. The fees for the exam is INR 750 for the General and OBC categories. SC/ ST/ PWD/ XS categories are exempted from fee payment. 

There is a negative marking in the SBI Clerk exam. 1/4th mark assigned to a particular question is deducted as a penalty for wrong answers. For correct answers in the exam, candidates score one mark. The total marks of candidates are calculated based on the number of correct and incorrect answers. The corrected scores obtained by each candidate in different sessions of the exam are normalised using the equi-percentile method. Scores upto two decimal points are taken for the purpose of calculations. The marks of candidates are calculated as per marking scheme. Candidates should attempt maximum number of questions to secure the desired score in the exam.
