SSC has decided to publicly disclose the scores and other details of candidates who appeared in the final stage of examination but not recommended for selection. This is applicable for the results declared from November 2020 onwards.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has decided to publicly disclose the scores of candidates who appeared in the final stage of examination but not recommended for selection. Besides the scores, the commission will also share information such name of candidate, father/husband’s name, date of birth, category (Gen/SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PH/Minority), gender, educational qualification, rank, address, and email ID.

The decision has been taken keeping in view of the order by the government on making the scores of candidates obtained in recruitment examinations public through portals. This will provide useful database to other employers to enable them to identify good and eligible candidates for various posts. The scores will be made available on the official website which candidates can further link with the dedicated websites to be developed by the government.

This is applicable for the SSC results declared by the commission from November 2020 onwards. Candidates will have the option at the time of filling SSC application form for opting out of disclosing the mentioned details.

The information of the non-recommended candidate who chooses the disclosure scheme will be provided on the official website of SSC after the declaration of final result. The information will be valid for one year from the date of its disclosure.
