How to Check SSC Result?

Candidates can follow the steps below to check the results for their respective SSC exam:

  1. Visit the official website of SSC – ssc.gov.in
  2. Click on the Result tab present at the top of the page
  3. Click on the exam name for which result needs to be seen
  4. Click on the result link
  5. Find your name and roll number in the SSC merit list

The SSC will declare SSC results on its official website. The results will be declared in the form of merit lists in PDF format. The SSC merit lists will contain names and roll numbers of candidates who will qualify for the respective exams. Candidates can check the SSC result for their respective exam by clicking on the result link on the official website.

The Staff Selection Commission will release the SSC MTS Havaldar 2025 result pdf only on its official website - ssc.gov.in. Q:   Is SSC CHSL Tier 1 qualifying in nature?

No, the SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam is not qualifying in nature, as candidates need to obtain the cut-off marks to qualify for the SSC CHSL Tier 2 exam. The SSC CHSL cut off for Tier 1 is decided by the Commission itself based on candidates' performance in the exam, difficulty level of the question paper and number of vacancies. Candidates who obtain the SSC CHSL cutoff for the specific post they have applied for are declared pass in the exam and are shortlisted to appear for the Tier 2 exam. However, the SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam is qualifying for the final selection of candidates; only Tier 2 marks are taken into consideration.

SSC Result Declaration Criteria 2025

The Staff Selection Commission declares the result after each tier/paper of an SSC exam 2025 is over. Once all tiers/papers of an SSC exam are conducted, the commission declares the final SSC result. All candidates whose names appear in the final SSC merit list then need to appear for the document verification round. Once the document verification round is over, all shortlisted candidates are allotted posts (as per the applied exam) in different ministries/departments/organisations of the Government of India.   

Note: The result declaration criteria might vary depending on the SSC exam for which a candidate is appearing.

SSC CPO educational qualification is given below.

  • Educational Qualification for all posts is a Bachelor's degree from a recognised university or equivalent.
  • The programs in Engineering, Medicine, Dental, Nursing, Pharmacy, Architecture, and Physiotherapy, etc. are not permitted to be offered under Open and Distance Learning mode.
  • Candidates who have not acquired the educational qualification will not be eligible and need not apply.
  • For the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police (only) - Male candidates must possess a valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) as on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Standard Tests. Otherwise, they will not be allowed to undergo Physical Endurance and Standard Tests.

Q:   What is the SSC GD merit list?
A: 

SSC GD Merit List 2025 is a list of candidates who have cleared the exam and have been shortlisted for the next stage of the selection process. The SSC GD Constable merit list is released twice during the exam process- once along with the CBE exam result (these candidates are shorlisted for the next round of selection process, that is, physical test (PET/ PST)) and once along with the final results (these candidates are shortlisted for post allocation). It contains the SSC GD rank list of candidates based on their merit in the examination.

Q:   When SSC CPO 2025 exam will be conducted?
A: 

SSC CPO exam is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) every year to recruit candidates for the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police and Sub Inspector in CAPFs. SSC CPO 2025 exam will be conducted from September 1 to 6, 2025. The selection process comprises Paper 1, Physical Standard Test (PST)/ Physical Endurance Test (PET), Paper 2 and Detailed Medical Examination (DME).

Q:   What is the age limit for SSC CPO?

Candidates need to fulfil the following eligibility criteria for SSC CPO 2024 exam:

  • Other than the Indian nationals, the following candidates can apply
  • A subject of Nepal or Bhutan having a certificate in the favour of their category issued by the Indian Government
  • Candidates, in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary are admitted to the examination but the offer of appointment is given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to them by the Government of India

Age Limit The age of candidates should be between 20 and 25 years. Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1999 and not later than 01.08.2004 to be eligible to apply. Relaxation in the upper age limit of five years is provided to SC/ST candidates and three years to OBC and Ex-Servicemen categories.

Educational Qualification: Any graduate candidate can apply for the SSC SI exam.
