TNTET 2025 Exam Starts Today for Paper 1; Check Reporting Timings and What to Carry Here
TN TET 2025 Paper 1 exam starts today. Candidates appearing for TNTET must check their reporting time and carry all specified documents to exam centre.
Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board is conducting TNTET 2025 day 1 exam today, November 15. Candidates who have applied for paper 1 are appearing for TNTET recruitment exam today. They must reach exam centre of TNTET 2025 at least an hour before commencement of paper 1. They must carry their TNTET hall ticket and any one valid photo ID proof to exam centre or else they will not be permitted to enter.
TNTET 2025 Paper 1 is scheduled to be conducted from 10 AM to 1 PM in morning shift. The duration of Tamil Nadu TET is three hours. Candidates must note that Tamil Nadu. Paper 1 is conducted for classes 1 to 5. Whereas, TNTET Paper 2 is held for classes 6 to 8 on November 16 for 3 hours.

What to carry to TNTET Exam Centre 2025?
Candidates need to carry these documents when appearing for Tamil Nadu TET:
- Admit Card
- Any one photo ID - Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Driving License or Passport
- Passport-sized photograph
- Transparent water bottle
The TNTET exam selection process consists of two papers namely Paper 1 and 2. Those candidates who want to teach from classes 1 to 5 give Paper 1 and those from classes 6 to 8 give Paper 2.
As per the official notification, the TNTET 2025 examination dates were revised due to administrative reasons. Now, instead of November 1 and 2, the exam will be held on November 15 for Paper 1 and for Paper 2 on November 16, 2025.
