UGC NET 2024 Jan 16 Exam: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the UGC NET exam tomorrow January 16, 2025, in two shifts. The UGC NET Dec session exam shift 1 will commence at 9 AM and conclude at 12 PM. Whereas UGC NET 2024 shift 2 will be held from 3 to 6 PM. In shift 1, the UGC NET 2024 Jan 16 exam will be held for Sociology, German, Sindhi and French (French Version).
The UGC NET shift 2 will be conducted for Library and Information Science, Politics including International Relations/International Studies including Defence / Strategic Studies, West Asian Studies, Southeast Asian Studies, African Studies, South Asian Studies, Soviet Studies,
American Studies, Human Rights and Duties, Hindu Studies, Dogri, Spanish, Comparative Study of Religions, Philosophy and Kashmiri.

UGC NET 2024 Dec Exam Day Instructions
While going for the exam candidates must check the below-mentioned UGC NET exam day instructions:
- They must carry a printed copy of UGC NET admit card, a valid ID proof, and two passport-sized photographs identical to the ones uploaded in the UGC NET application form.
- Do not bring electronic devices (e.g., mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators), study materials, or personal belongings into the examination hall.
- Candidates must carefully read the instructions displayed on the computer screen before the exam begins.
- As the UGC NET exam is computer-based, rough sheets will be provided for calculations. These must be submitted to the invigilator before leaving the exam hall.
- Candidates are permitted to leave the exam hall only after obtaining permission from the invigilator and ensuring all rough sheets are returned.
