UGC NET 2024 Dec Session Exam To Start From January 3
UGC NET 2024 Dec Session: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the UGC NET exam from January 3, 2025, in two shifts. As per the schedule released, the UGC NET Dec session exam shift 1 will start at 9 AM and conclude at 12 PM. Whereas UGC NET 2024 shift 2 will be held from 3 to 6 PM. In shift 1, UGC NET 2024 day 1 exam will be held for Public Administration.
The UGC NET shift 2 will be conducted for Economics / Rural Economics /Co-operation / Demography / Development Planning/Development Studies / Econometrics/ Applied Economics / Development and Economics / Business Economics. UGC NET 2024 is conducted to assess the eligibility for Assistant Professorships and Junior Research Fellowships in Indian universities and colleges.

UGC NET 2024 Dec Session Exam Day Guidelines
Candidates appearing for the exam can check the UGC NET 2024 exam day guidelines that have been provided below:
- Candidates must carry a printed copy of the UGC NET admit card. Those who forget to bring the UGC NET 2024 admit card will not be allowed to appear for the exam
- They must also carry at least 2 passport size photographs (as uploaded on the application form)
- They must not wear jewellery or clothing with intricate embroidery or pockets
- Candidates must arrive 2 hours before the UGC NET exam for thorough frisking and to complete the registration process
- Candidates must verify that the subject on the UGC NET 2024 question paper matches the one indicated on their application form and promptly inform the invigilator of any discrepancies
