UGC NET 2025 Dec Session: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting UGC NET December 2024 for the award of a Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as Assistant Professor. The UGC NET 2024 day 1 shift 1 exam is being held for Public Administration. Whereas, the shift 2 exam will be conducted for Economics / Rural Economics /Co-operation / Demography / Development Planning/Development Studies / Econometrics/ Applied Economics / Development and Economics / Business Economics. Candidates going for the exam must carry their UGC NET admit card 2024 along with any valid ID proof. Without carrying these, they will not be allowed to appear for UGC NET Dec session exam 2024.

What to Carry to the UGC NET 2024 Exam Centre?

To ensure a smooth entry process, candidates must carry the following items:

• Admit Card: A hard copy of the UGC NET admit card, which can be downloaded from the official NTA website.
• Valid ID Proof: An original government-issued ID such as Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, or Driving License.
• Passport-sized Photograph: The same as uploaded during the application process.
• Transparent Water Bottle: For personal use.

The following items are strictly prohibited inside UGC NET 2024 Exam Centre

• Electronic gadgets (mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, etc.).
• Study materials such as books or notebooks.
• Food items or beverages (except for diabetic candidates).
• Any other personal belongings.

UGC NET Dec 2024 Exam Day Instructions

• Candidates must follow the instructions mentioned on their UGC NET admit cards and listen carefully to the invigilators at the centre.
• All responses must be entered only on the official computer system during the Computer-Based Test (CBT).
• Candidates should thoroughly check their allocated exam hall and system number displayed on the notice board upon arrival.
• Those attempting the second shift must avoid crowding around the exam venue during the morning session to ensure smooth functioning.
