UPPSC 2020 application dates extended due to COVID 19: See details

UPPSC PCS 2020 application dates extended till June 4. Read below for details.

The UPPSC has extended the last date of UPPCS 2020 application till 4 June 2020. The UPPSC has issued a notice on May 16 addressing the candidates that because of the coronavirus pandemic, the last date to submit the UPPSC 2020 fee is June 2 and the application submission is June 4, 2020. The UPPSC PCS 2020 notification was issued on April 21 and the last date to apply for the UPPSC 2020 exam was May 21.

The candidates were demanding to extend the UPPSC application 2020 dates because of the coronavirus pandemic and the consequent lockdown in the state. The candidates cannot fill their application forms because the internet cafes are closed in the state.

How to fill the UPPSC 2020 application?

The UPPSC 2020 Application is a three-stage process which includes the following.

• Candidate Registration 
• Fee Deposit/Reconciliation
• Submit the Application Form

Following is the UPPSC 2020 application filling process.

• Go to the official website of UPPSC – uppsc.up.nic.in
• Go to the ‘Latest Advertisement’ tab given at the left corner of the home page
• Click on the ‘Apply’ tab given at the right corner of the UPPSC 2020 Advertisement table
• Fill the required personal details and the exam centre
• Submit the prescribed fees as per the category
• Upload the scanned copy of photo and signature
• Submit the UPPSC PCS 2020 application
• Take a printout of the UPPSC 2020 application for future reference

The UPPSC exam is a three-stage selection process which includes the following.

1. Prelims
2. Main
3. Interview

The UPPSC 2020 prelims exam will have two objective type question papers. The UPPSC Prelims exam serves as a screening exam and its marks are not considered in the final merit of the exam.

The UPPSC PCS 2020 exam was scheduled to be conducted on June 21, 2020. But because of the extension of lockdown and the increase in the number of cases across the state, it would be very difficult to conduct the state-wide exam. It would be in favour of all the stack holders that the UPPSC exam will be postponed
