The UPPSC 2020 prelims exam is an offline exam conducted across the state in two sessions. The UPPCS prelims 2020 will have the following exam pattern.

Approximately seven to eight lakh candidates fill the UPPSC application form and around five to six lakh candidates appear in the exam. There are twenty-one exam centres in the seventy-five district state. So it requires the intensive travelling of the candidates to the exam centres.

The UPPSC PCS exam is conducted to recruit the candidates for the state civil services, also known as the Provincial Civil Services (PCS). The UPPCS officers are only second to the IAS officers posted in the state.
