Recently, UPPSC had conducted the UPPSC Review Officer/Assistant Review Officer exam 2016 across the state. The admit card for this exam was also released in time, but because of the coronavirus pandemic, only 36% of candidates appeared in the exam.

The UPPSC did not publicise any of the instructions given to the examination centres regarding the safety of the candidates. The commission will only release the instructions for the candidates along with the UPPSC 2020 admit card. The candidates need to take the utmost safety and hygiene measure to get themselves distant from the infection.

UPPSC PCS exam is said to the toughest exam after the UPSC exam because of the standard of the question paper and the number of candidates appearing in the exam. In 2018, the UPPSC exam pattern was changed and the commission introduced the negative marking in the UPPSC prelims exam. The negative marking was introduced to match the exam pattern with that of UPSC IAS prelims.
