UPSC Civil Services (IAS) exam 2019 revised interview schedule was released by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on June 19, 2020. The remaining IAS interview 2019 will begin from July 20 and will end on July 30. UPSC, on June 5 along with the new dates for IAS 2020 exam, announced that the remaining IAS interviews 2019 will be conducted from July 20.

The UPSC had postponed the IAS interviews 2019 scheduled from March 23 to April 3, 2020. The UPSC interview was postponed because of the coronavirus pandemic across the nation. There were 623 candidates left out because of this decision. The UPSC has now released the new UPSC IAS 2019 interview schedule.

The UPSC has scheduled the interview of over sixty candidates per day. There are ten interview boards in UPSC. If all are functional then each board will interview six candidates per day, three in the morning and three in the afternoon.

The UPSC interview is conducted in the UPSC premises at Dholpur House in New Delhi. All the candidates need to travel to New Delhi amid this COVID-19 pandemic and appear in the UPSC IAS interview.

The UPSC IAS interview is the last stage of the IAS exam selection process. The IAS exam is a three-stage exam. After the UPSC conducts the IAS interviews, The IAS result will be declared within ten to fifteen days after the IAS interviews will be over.
