UPTET 2020-21 likely to be held on February 28

UPTET 2020-21 exam is likely to be conducted on February 28, 2021. UPTET 2020 notification is expected to be out anytime soon.

Anil Bhushan Chaturvedi, the Secretary, Exam Regulatory Authority, Uttar Pradesh has proposed to conduct the UPTET 2020 exam on February 28, 2021, as per media reports. The UPTET notification along with the application form is likely to be released soon. It is expected that candidates will be able to fill the UPTET application form 2020 till the second week of January 2021. It may be noted that any official confirmation in this regard is currently awaited.

Every year, UPTET notification is typically released in September/October. However, this year, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic across the country, the notification is delayed. Every year, over 15 lakh candidates appear for the UPTET exam. Last year, total 16,34,249 candidates registered while 15,14,716 appeared for the exam. In 2018, about 17 lakh candidates had appeared for the exam.
