UPTET Application Form 2023 is soon be going to released by the UP Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC), on behalf of the UPBEB on the official website after the release of the official notification. Candidates are required to UPTET apply online to fill out the UPTET 2023 application form by visiting the official website - updeled.gov.in. The UPTET application fee for 2023 is INR 600 for one paper and INR 1200 for both papers for General category candidates. UPTET Application Form 2023 Latest Updates

According to the tweet by the Uttar Pradesh CM, the UPTET 2023 exam conducting authority will be changed. The new exam-conducting authority will be called Uttar Pradesh Education Selection Service Commission (UPESSC). However, the official notification is yet to be released for the transfer of the exam authority to the official website. The candidates can expect the release of notification in the month of June 2023, tentatively, as the reason behind the delay of notification is clear now.

Step 1: Fill UPTET Online Application Form

To fill UPTET 2023 application form, candidates can follow the steps mentioned below:

Step 2: Verification of UPTET registration

For verification, candidates should fill in the registration number and One-Time Password (OTP) received on their mobile number/email ID. It may be noted that only candidates who successfully verify their registration details will be allowed to fill in the remaining fields of the application form.

Step 3: Fill UPTET Application Form

Once registration details are verified, candidates can now fill out the application form. Once filled, candidates can click on the 'Submit' button. It may be noted that once submitted, candidates will not be allowed to make any changes to the application form.

Step 4: Pay the UPTET Application Fee

To pay the application fee, candidates first need to log in to their registered account using their registration number and date of birth. Once logged in, aspirants can pay the application fee for UPTET through online mode via credit card/debit card. Candidates who wish to appear for both Paper 1 and 2 can fill out the single application form
UPBEB does not provide the facility for correction of the application form. Therefore, candidates must fill all details in the UPTET application form 2023 carefully
Candidates must retain the registration number till the selection process is complete
The application fee once paid is non-refundable

In 2021, there were a total of 21,65,179 UPTET registrations. Of these, 12,91,627 candidates registered for Paper 1 and 8,73,552 registered for Paper 2
In 2019, a total of 16,56,338 candidates registered for the UPTET exam. Out of this, 10,83,016 candidates registered for Paper 1 and 5,73,322 candidates registered for Paper 2

UPTET Eligibility 2023

A: The UPTET 2023 exam will be conducted in offline mode. The exam will be conducted in pen paper based mode. The candidates will be provided with OMR sheet that will comprise 150 questions and their options. The candidates have to fill out the OMR sheet carefully as no extra OMR sheet will be provided to the candidate. So, the candidates are advised to fill out their name, roll number, date, date of birth subject code carefully. Q: Is UPTET Certificate valid for a lifetime?

A: The UPTET certificate is now valid forever. Ramesh Pokhariyal, Indian Education Minister has announced that the validity of the TET certificate is extended for a lifetime. Earlier the validity of the certificates was 5 years. Candidates qualifying for the UPTET 2023 exam will be the first batch of candidates with a lifetime UPTET certificate. They can apply for teacher recruitment in Uttar Pradesh schools at any point in time till they fulfil the eligibility criteria fixed by the respective recruiting agency.

Q: Is there any negative marking in UPTET?

A: No, there is no negative marking in the UPTET exam. In the UPTET exam, candidates are given four choices for every question. Candidates need to select the one correct answer out of the four given options. One mark is allotted for every correct answer. There is no negative marking in the exam. The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) has not mentioned any negative marking scheme in the UPTET exam. This means that candidates are not penalized for incorrect answers in the UPTET exam.
