National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued reminder to candidates that registration window for Common University Entrance Test Postgraduate programmes (CUET-PG) 2026 will close soon. Eligible applicants need to complete online application process by January 14, 2026 through official website, exams.nta.nic.in/cuet-pg.
NTA in its recent notice has advised candidates not to wait until last day to submit their forms to avoid technical issues or payment-related delays.
CUET-PG 2026: Application Process and Important Dates
As per official schedule, candidates are required to fill application form online, upload necessary documents and pay examination fee before CUET-PG 2026 Registration deadline. Applications submitted without successful fee payment will not be considered complete.
- Last date to submit application and pay fee: January 14, 2026 (up to 11:50 pm)
- Correction window: January 18 to January 20, 2026
- CUET-PG 2026 exam: Expected to be conducted in March 2026
During correction window, candidates will be allowed to edit some of the details in their application forms as per NTA guidelines.
CUET-PG 2026 Exam Pattern and City Preferences
CUET-PG 2026 will be conducted for 157 postgraduate subjects, with close to 200 universities participating this time. Each paper will have a duration of 90 minutes. While filling form, applicants can select up to four preferred exam cities, providing flexibility in centre allocation.
This PG entrance exam serves as a common gateway for admission to post-graduate courses offered by central universities, state universities, private universities, deemed universities and other participating institutions across country.
NTA has advised candidates to verify all personal, academic and contact details before final submission and keep a copy of confirmation page and fee receipt for reference.
