National Testing Agency has opened CUET PG 2026 registration for admission to postgraduate programmes in central, state and participating universities. Candidates should complete the process soon, as registration deadline is approaching.

With only10 days left for CUET PG 2026 registration, candidates planning to appear for this national level postgraduate entrance exam should complete their application process within given timeline. National Testing Agency will close CUET PG application window on January 14, 2026.

CUET PG 2026 Registration Deadline

As per official schedule, last date to submit CUET PG 2026 application form is January 14. Application forms submitted after deadline will not be accepted under any circumstances.

Candidates are required to register online through official CUET PG portal using a valid email ID and mobile number.

Who Should Apply Now

Aspirants planning for admission in courses like MA, MSc, MCom, MTech, MFA and other postgraduate courses offered by participating universities through CUET PG will have to apply by Jan 14. Eligibility conditions vary depending on programme and university and students are advised to check course-wise requirements before submitting their form.

Exam City Selection: What Candidates Should Keep in Mind

While filling application form, candidates are required to select preferred exam cities. For CUET PG 2026, applicants can select up to four exam city preferences based on their present or permanent address.

Q: ย  How many subjects can be opted in CUET PG while filling the application form?
A: 

CUET PG 2026 examination was held in March 2026.The online applications were filled form from December 14 to January 23, 2026. While filling up the CUET PG online application form, test taker can select only one subject in one slot of the examination day. However, from the previous year academic year, they were able to choose a maximum of 20 test paper codes in all.

Before choosing multiple subjects for the examination, candidates are advised to check the minimum education eligibility criteria for the particular course they have applied for. Also, check the university-specific subject criteria for the subject a candidate wants to appear for.

Q: ย  How many exam cities can be selected while filling up the CUET PG application form?
A: 

NTA released the CUET PG 2026 information brochure and exam notification on December 14, 2025. Candidates could select four city choices while filling the CUET PG 2026 application form. The city choices had to be entered in order of preference within their present and permanent address. Based on this, NTA will allot the exam centre. NTA reserves the right to allot any exam city to the candidates that is not among the candidates' selected choices.

Q: ย  Can the application fee of CUET PG exam paid offline?
A: 

The only platform of paying the CUET PG application fee is via online mode. So far, the examination conducting body has not mentioned about paying the application fee offline.

The online way of paying the application fee of CUET PG examination is through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI Services. Processing charges and GST as applicable are chargeable to the candidate (in addition to the examination fee) by the concerned Bank/Payment Gateway Integrator. The Confirmation Page of the online Application Form will be generated only after successful payment by the
Candidate. 

NTA has clarified that final allotment of exam centres depends on availability and administrative feasibility and candidates may be allotted a city other than their preferences in some cases.

Correction Window After Registration

Candidates who complete application process will be given an opportunity to edit certain details during CUET PG correction window, as per schedule to be announced by NTA. This will include option to make changes to exam city preferences, if required.

City Intimation Slip and Admit Card

NTA will release a city intimation slip before exam to inform candidates about city where their exam centre is located. CUET PG admit card will be issued around exam date and will contain details like exam centre address, date, shift and other instructions.

Candidates are required to carry admit card along with a valid photo ID on day of examination.
