Central University of Jharkhand (CUJ) has announced that admissions for 2026 academic session will be conducted through Common University Entrance Test (CUET). Candidates seeking admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes will be required to qualify CUET UG 2026 or CUET PG 2026 and complete online admission process as per schedule.
CUJ Admission 2026: How to Apply
Admission to Central University of Jharkhand is conducted through a national-level entrance exam. For undergraduate programmes, candidates need to qualify CUET UG, while postgraduate admissions are based on CUET PG scores. Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is conducted by National Testing Agency.
After appearing in CUET, candidates are required to register online on the university’s official admission portal. The university releases a merit list based on CUET scores, following which the admission process is completed.
CUJ Fees Structure
Fee structure at CUJ is considered affordable compared to many other universities. Undergraduate courses like BA, BSc and BCom (Honours) have relatively lower annual fees. Postgraduate programmes including MA, MSc, MCom and MBA have slightly higher fees.
- UG programmes have annual fees of around ₹25,000 to ₹30,000
- PG programmes cost slightly more than UG courses
- Professional courses like MBA have annual fees of approximately ₹60,000 to ₹70,000
Students are advised to check official university notification for course-wise fee details.
CUJ Placement Details
University’s placement cell assists students with internships, career counselling and job placements. Students from professional programmes, especially MBA have received placement offers from various sectors.
Companies that have participated in placement process include TCS, Amul, Axis Bank, Reliance, Kotak Mahindra Bank, HDFC Bank and GEPL Capital. Highest package offered in recent placements has gone up to around ₹9 lakh per annum, particularly in management programmes.
Go on the official website of university/organaisation. Check the courses offered and eligibility test that they should appear in for admission to desired course. The choice of language/domain subject and General test will depend upon the course and university. Candidates will be able to opt for one or more tests as per the requirement of the course and university from the following sections:
- Section I - 13 Languages
- Section II - 23 Domain Specific Subjects
- Section III - General Test
As per the statistics shared by the exam conducting authority, National Testing Agency, approximately four Lacs candidates appear for the CUET PG every year. Science, Humanities and Linguistics have the highest number of candidates.

National Testing Agency (NTA) will commence the CUET UG 2026 registrations at cuet.nta.nic.in. Candidates desirous of taking admission to University/college through CUET must fill the application form before the deadline. On the release of the CUET notification, important dates for CUET 2026 will be announced. CUET 2026 application process will be in online mode.
