IBAB Admission 2025: MSc Registration Underway till May 5; Apply Online at ibab.ac.in

Students willing to get admission in MSc in Biotechnology and Bioinformation or MSc in Big Data Biology can check the eligibility criteria, important dates and selection process for the entrance examination. 

Institute of Bioinformatics and Applied Biotechnology (IBAB) is offering admission to the MSc programme in Biotechnology and Bioinformation along with the Big Data Biology programme. Interested and eligible students willing to get admission to programmes offering high-impact multidisciplinary research programmes with internationally trained faculty dedicated to nurturing the next generation of professionals can get admission to the programme. 

IBAB 2025 Important Dates

The IBAB MSc admission dates 2025 are now available. Students willing to get admission to the MSc programme in IBAB can fill the application form online by May 5, 2025. The authorities will release the mock test on May 24, 2025, and the entrance examination will be conducted on May 25, 2025. Students who will appear in the examination will be able to check their results online at ibab.ac.in on June 2, 2025. The authorities will conclude the admission process on June 30, 2025, and the classes will begin from July 15, 2025, onward. 

The authorities have announced the eligibility criteria for admission to the MSc programme on the official website. Students having a Bachelor's degree with an aggregate score of at least 50% (45% in case of SC/ST, OBC candidates) in Physical/ Chemical/ Biological/ Computational Sciences or Engineering.

The selection process notifies that a national-level proctored online entrance test will be conducted for both MSc programmes, with Paper 1 being general aptitude while Paper 2 will be one core subject paper. The admission will be based on academic records and performance in the examination.
