IIT Guwahati BS Admission 2026: Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati has extended last date for candidates applying to 4-Year Bachelor of Science (BS) programme in Biomedical Science and Engineering for July 2026 session. Candidates now have until 12:00 PM on July 3, 2026, to upload academic documents through online application portal iitg.ac.in/admission.
Earlier, last date to upload documents was June 25, 2026. IIT Guwahati has now extended it to July 3, 2026. This extension provides additional time for eligible candidates to complete IIT Guwahati BS admission application process by submitting their Class 12 marksheet, marks and IAT 2026 scorecard.

From the academic session 2025, admissions are done through the IAT exam channel only, and the other two channels, including JEE Main and KVPY scores, have been discontinued.
Admission to 4-Year BS programme in Biomedical Science and Engineering is being conducted for July 2026 academic session. IIT Guwahati application requires candidates to submit their academic records along with their Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Aptitude Test (IAT) 2026 score.
