The JAM 2025 admission portal will remain active till April 9, 2025 for eligible students based on their respective category and performance in the JAM 2025 admission test. The admission link will be active at the JOAPS portal i.e. joaps.iitd.ac.in for candidates who have qualified the entrance examination.

JAM 2025 Admission Portal

Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT-Delhi), the organising institute of the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2025 will open the JAM 2025 admission portal for admission to various master’s programs across 22 IITs tomorrow, i.e. March 26, 2025. The JAM 2025 admission portal will remain active till April 9, 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for master's admission in IITs based on their respective category and performance in the JAM 2025 admission test. The admission link will be active at the JOAPS portal i.e. joaps.iitd.ac.in

IIT JAM Admission in Four Phases

All qualified candidates shall download IIT JAM 2025 scorecards via the JOAPS portal, using their login credentials. Admissions will be carried out across four phases, and candidates will be able to choose programs and institutes depending on their IIT JAM results. Students are required to be mindful of the admission deadline as the authorities are unlikely to extend the admission dates. 

IIT JAM 2025: Over 16,000 Students Qualified

IIT Delhi conducted the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2025 on February 2, 2025 for admission to MSc, M.Sc. (Tech.), MS (Research), MSc-M. Tech. dual degree, and Joint MSc-PhD programs at 22 IITs and 31 result-sharing institutes, including IISc, IISER, IIPR, and CCMN. More over 66,000 students applied for JAM 2025, and over 83% of them appeared for the exam. Out of which, over 16,600 people, have qualified in all categories.

Q:   What are the admission programmes offered by IIT JAM 2026?
A:

JAM Score is used for admission to various postgraduate programmes such as (i) MSc,   (ii) MSc (Tech), (iii) MS (Research), (iv) MSc - M.Tech Dual Degree, (v) Joint MSc - PhD. and (vi) MSc - PhD Dual Degree, across multiple disciplines by premier institutes across the country.
Admissions to various programmes using JAM 2026 Score can be divided into two categories:
I. Admitting Institutes:
There are around 3000 seats in postgraduate programmes at 21 IITs for the academic year 2026-27. JAM 2026 Scores will be used to admit the candidates subject to satisfying the ERs and MEQs and any other necessary requirements, without any additional interview or written test.
II. Result Sharing Institutes:
JAM scores will be used for admission to over 2000 seats for postgraduate programmes such as MSc and MA at IISc and various NITs, IIEST Shibpur, SLIET, DIAT through Centralized Counselling for MSc / MSc (Tech.) Admission (CCMN).
