JMI to Offer Short Term Training Programme in AI and ML; Check Eligibility Criteria, Seat Intake

The JMI Short Term Programme will be offered in Hybrid mode with a duration of 50 hours for undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD candidates with a Maths background who are eligible to apply. Check Jamia Millia Islamia's latest short-term programme details for admission and information here. 

Jamia Millia Islamia's (JMI) Department of Computer Engineering will organise a three-week short-term training programme (STTP) on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). The STTP will be conducted in hybrid mode for a duration of 50 hours between July 1 to 19, 2025. The STTP will have theory classes of 20 hours duration and hands-on practical training for 30 hours. Interested and eligible students can fill the forms on or before May 24, 2025. 

The classes will include five major topics, including the following: 

(1) Introduction to AI & Python Programming Basics

(2) Applied Data Science with Python

(3) Machine Learning Algorithms

(4) Deep Learning for Computer Vision with Keras & Tensorflow and

(5) Deep Learning for NLP with Keras & Tensorflow.

Jamia Millia Islamia Short Term Courses: Eligibility Criteria and Intake 

Students from diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD levels having mathematics as their core subject are eligible to apply for the Short Term Training Programme. The total seat intake of the programme is 160 seats, out of which 60 seats are for offline participants and 100 seats will be for online participants. It must be noted that the admissions are strictly on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to the availability of the seats.  

Experts from the university and other reputed central/foreign universities will be the helping persons for the programme. A Certificate will be provided at the end of the successful completion of the STTP programme.
