Kerala University has cancelled the undergraduate entrance exam rank list after irregularities were found in the result evaluation process. The Kerala University conducted the examination for admission into four-year degree programmes across 16 departments.
Reportedly, over 4,000 students appeared for the entrance examination that was conducted for a four-year degree programme across the departments of the university. The exam was conducted using OMR sheets, and teachers from several departments evaluated the results and the answer sheets of Kerala University's four-year degree programmes.
However, a student raised a complaint regarding the irregularities in the entrance examination result calculation. Following the complaint, an investigation team was formed to check whether the allegation was correct or not. The investigation revealed several errors in evaluating the answer sheet that will affect over 4000 students. The investigating team found that the negligence of the result evaluation team led to widespread discrepancies in Kerala University results.
A three-member committee was formed for investigation. The complete re-evaluation of all answer sheets was conducted. Now, Kerala University revised rank list 2025 will be published soon after the rechecking process is completed. The investigating panel will submit the report within a week to the vice chancellor of the university, and the necessary actions will be taken based on the report.
