One year MRes course approved by University Grants Commission (UGC) has 20 academic credits across two semesters.
Lucknow University (LU) has launched one year Master of Research (MRes) programme, which will be offered from 2025-26 academic session. This masters level course is available for students who have four year undergraduate degree with research. As per an official announcement, this course offers interdisciplinary curriculum for students.
Eligibility and how to apply?
One year MRes comprises of 20 academic credits and is spread across two semesters, offering a postgraduate degree. Course is meant for students who have completed a four-year UG programme with a research component. The MRes is aligned with NEP’s vision of flexible, skill-oriented education. Its interdisciplinary structure allows students to explore various subjects, equipping them with required skills to stand out in job markets or pursue advanced studies abroad.
