Panjab University released an official notice regarding the postponement of its entrance exams for various courses. Read further to know the revised dates:
The Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh postponed its entrance exams. Now the entrance exams of PU will be held in October. The decision behind this delay is the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. With this delay, the classes for the new batch at the varsity are expected to resume by November. According to the revised schedule, the Punjab University Common Entrance Test i.e. PU CET for undergraduate courses and entrance exams for BA, BCom, LLB (Hons) five year integrated courses will be held on October 4. The PU Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to postgraduate courses will be held on October 10 and October 11. On October 16, PUTHAT will be held and PUMEET, PULEET will be held on October 18. Entrance test for LLB (three-year course), MBA executive, MPhil, PhD admissions will be conducted on October 22, 30, and November 7.
Panjab University also posted a tweet via its official handle stating, "Keeping in view the ongoing #COVID19 pandemic, the dates of the various entrance tests for the session 2020-21have been extended."

The University has released the admission application form at the official websites - onlineadmissions.ouchd.ac.in and ugadmissions.puchd.ac.in. The application form is available until August 8 and the deadline for the fee payment is until August 10.
PU offers several courses such as MTech, MPharm, MSc, MEd, MLib and information Science, BA (Hons), BA (Hons) in Economics, BLib. and Information Science, P.G. Diploma Courses, B.Ed. Special Education (Learning Disability), etc., which require no entrance test. However, the submission of online application is still necessary for these courses as well.
