The UPCATET 2020 exam will be conducted for UG courses today. Check the exam pattern, marking scheme and the latest notice.
The Uttar Pradesh Combined Agriculture and Technology Entrance Test (UPCATET) is being conducted today for Undergraduate (UG) programmes. A total of 1,734 seats are offered in various UG courses. The UPCATET for PG courses will be conducted on August 19, 2020, and UPCATET for PhD courses will be conducted on August 20, 2020. The duration of UPCATET is 3 hours. The students who are appearing for the UPCATET (UG) courses, the date, time and schedule will be mentioned on the UPCATET admit card which was released on August 6, 2020.
Through UPCATET, students can get admission to four Universities which are:
- Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture & Technology, Kanpur
- Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology, Meerut
- Narendra Deo University of Agriculture and Technology, Kumarganj
- Banda University of Agriculture and Technology, Banda

The marking scheme for UPCATET is as follows:
- For every right answer, 3 marks will be awarded.
- For every wrong answer, there will be -1 negative marking.
- For every unattempted question, 0 marks will be given.

The UPCATET exam 2020 is being conducted finally despite the situation being as tough as it can. The conducting body has revealed that the classes have been sanitized and students are advised to carry their masks and hand sanitizers which them.
