UP Colleges Admissions: Amid the declining number of cases of the novel coronavirus, the Uttar Pradesh government has decided to reopen intermediate schools in the state with 50% capacity from mid-August. The state has also decided to reopen colleges and universities from September 1. According to the reports, the decision has been taken in view of the COVID-19 cases being less than 100 for a long time. While the reopening procedure is under consideration, the state has asked the schools, colleges and universities to follow the precautionary and guidelines against coronavirus spread.

UP 10th Results 2021 and UP 12th Results 2021 have already been declared and more than 99 percent of students passed in both classes. Approximately 30 lakh students were supposed to appear for UP 10th exams and more than 26 lakh students were to appear for UP 12th board exams. UP Board Exams 2021 for Classes 10 and 12 were canceled amid the ongoing pandemic situation. With the release of UP Board results based on alternative assessment criteria, the government has asked state universities to begin the admission application process for undergarduate courses from August 5, 2021, onward. Meanwhile, it has been decided that the state colleges and universities will reopen from September 1 onwards. Check the official tweets posted by UP CMO below:

Meanwhile, states such as Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand have already opened schools and colleges from August 2. Whereas, the government of Delhi has also sought suggestions from parents, students and school management regarding school reopening.
