Indian Air Force (IAF) is conducting AFCAT (2) 2021 online in more than 100 cities in two shifts-9.45 am to 11.45 am and 2.15 pm to 4.15 pm. According to the feedback provided by students, the overall paper was moderate to difficult in terms of difficulty level. The General Awareness section was moderate, Verbal Ability in English was moderate, Numerical Ability was moderate to difficult and Reasoning and Military Aptitude was moderate.

AFCAT exam pattern 2021 is divided into four sections: General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability and Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test. The duration of the test is two hours. AFCAT (2) Exam Analysis & Review by Students

Shiksha visited one of the AFCAT exam centres in Dibrugarh, where are 100 candidates had appeared in the exam to gather their feedback regarding the section-wise and overall difficulty levels. Let’s check below AFCAT (2) exam analysis shared by the students.

Chandan Chetri: AFCAT (2) 2021 paper was moderate. This is my third attempt in the AFCAT exam. Comparatively, the paper was tough than the previous years. The General Knowledge section was tough. Questions in General Awareness were mostly asked from History (focus was laid more on Mughal Period) and Politics. Reasoning and Military Aptitude and Mathematics papers were easy. Verbal Ability in English was tough. In this section, Word Substitution and Error Detection questions were tough. 

Sher Singh: The overall difficulty of AFCAT (2) paper was moderate. English was tough, General Awareness was moderate, General Intelligence and Military Aptitude were moderate, Numerical Ability section was moderate.

Shubham: The difficulty level of the exam was moderate. The Verbal Ability in the English section, the Vocabulary section was tough. In the General Awareness section, most questions were asked from Static. Mathematics section was easy and questions were asked based on the AFCAT syllabus. The Reasoning section was moderate. AFCAT cutoff 2021 is expected to be around 165-170.

Saurav Bhattacharjee: The paper was moderate in terms of difficulty level. English section was tricky and General Intelligence and Military Aptitude were moderate, Maths was moderate and questions were asked from Time and Work, Simplification, Time Speed & Distance, Averages, etc. The General Awareness section was moderate.
