CDS 2 Exam Analysis 2020 for Mathematics by Students

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has conducted CDS 2 2020 exam for Mathematics. This paper was conducted for candidates who have opted for Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA) and Air Force Academy (AFA). Candidates who had opted for Officers Training Academy (OTA) were not required to appear in this paper. The exam was conducted from 3 pm to 5 pm. CDS 2 exam was conducted, putting in place all COVID-19 safety guidelines.

The Mathematics paper of CDS 2 2020 comprised a total of 100 questions. The duration of the exam was two hours. For incorrect answers, 1/3 marks allotted to the question will be deducted as a penalty.

Shiksha visited one of the exam centres in South Delhi where around 1,440 candidates had appeared in the exam to gather their feedback regarding the difficulty level of the paper. Questions in this paper were asked from Number System, Mensuration, Geometry, Time, Speed and Distance, Simple Interest/Compound interest, Trigonometry, Algebra, Percentage, Mixture, Time and Work, Ratio & Proportion, Profit/Loss, Statistics, etc. Check below for CDS 2 exam analysis 2020 for Mathematics by students.

Mayank said, "The exam was moderate. Questions were asked mostly from advanced maths. Candidates with good preparation would have done better in the exam."

Himanshi said, "The paper was moderate in terms of difficulty level. There were no calculations. Questions were asked from Algebra, trigonometry, Ages, Geometry, profilt and loss. Most of the questions were asked from Number System, Algebra and Geometry."

Himanshu said, "The paper was moderate. Questions were asked from Arithmetic Progression, Geometric Progression, Profit and Loss. 10 to 12 questions were asked from Trigonometry and Statistics."

Rahul said, "The paper was easy, however, few questions were tough. Questions were asked from Trigonometry, Geometry, Statistics, etc. All questions were based on the CDS syllabus."

Lalit said, "The paper was easy. Questions were asked from Average, Mean and Median, etc."

Sachin Kumar said, "The difficulty level was moderate. Compared to last year, the difficulty level was easy. Questions were mostly asked from Series, Profit and Loss."
