NDA (I) and (II) 2020 exams were conducted successfully on September 6 amid COVID-19 pandemic. Know here the state-wise tallly regarding the number of candidates appeared in the exam.

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) had conducted NDA (I) & (II) exams on September 6. The exam was conducted putting in place all COVID-19 pandemic precautions. The exam centre officials ensured that all candidates wore mask and followed social distancing. They were allowed to carry hand sanitiser inside the exam centre. Attribute it to Covid-19 fear or transportation issue, very few candidates turned out for the exam in some parts of the states.

The state-wise tally regarding the number of candidates appeared in NDA exam is given below.

Ranchi: Jharkhand recorded 37% attendance in the examinations for National Defense Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy. The exams were conducted at 47 NDA exam centres with Covid precautions. Approximately 20,638 examinees from Jharkhand were supposed to take the examinations in Ranchi centres. In the first sitting, around 37% attendance was recorded.

Kashmir: As many as 485 candidates from different parts of the Kashmir Valley appeared in NDA exam amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The arrangements taken at the exam centre included seating facility at good distance, fumigation and sanitisation of examination centres, deployment of magistrates at both the centres, security, etc. Two special examination trains were run between Banihal and Baramulla to ensure hassle-free transportation of candidates who appeared in the exam in Srinagar.

According to NDA exam analysis, the overall difficulty of NDA (I) and (II) exams were moderate. The unofficial NDA answer key are available now. NDA question papers for GAT and Mathematics are also released.
