Normally in February every year, a notification from ICAR is given for admission to Diploma, UG, PG and Doctoral courses of various Agricultural Universities and Colleges of ICAR and States. The process is online for this a link is provided on the ICAR website http://www.icar.org.in and also on the websites of agricultural universities and colleges.
There is an online entrance exam like JEE, AIEE, etc. in the second week of June, based on the course applied among the eligible candidates. The result is declared in four weeks. The eligible candidates are called for counselling at Delhi and are given a choice from their preference purely on merit bases however category reserved seats, SC, OBC etc. are called first.
Admissions to BSc courses at Usha Martin University are made based on applicants' merit in Class 12. To be eligible to apply, students must first apply for the preferred BSc course. The students can either fill out the application form online or visit the admissions office at Ranchi/Patna to submit the application.
Once the application process is over, the university shortlists students based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination (Class 12) and university seat intake. These shortlisted students further need to submit a demand draft of the first fee installment in favor of Usha Martin University. Students are successfully admitted upon payment of fees.
