Normally in February every year, a notification from ICAR is given for admission to Diploma, UG, PG and Doctoral courses of various Agricultural Universities and Colleges of ICAR and States. The process is online for this a link is provided on the ICAR website http://www.icar.org.in and also on the websites of agricultural universities and colleges.
There is an online entrance exam like JEE, AIEE, etc. in the second week of June, based on the course applied among the eligible candidates. The result is declared in four weeks. The eligible candidates are called for counselling at Delhi and are given a choice from their preference purely on merit bases however category reserved seats, SC, OBC etc. are called first.
SAGE University BSc admissions take place through the SAGE University Joint Entrance exam (SEE). There is no option of direct admission as everyone has to appear for the exam and secure a valid score to be eligible for admission.
In addition to that, only those candidates are eligible to appear for the SEE exam who have a minimum aggregate of 50% in their Class 12 exams. Therefore, candidates can apply for admission at SAGE University through Class 12 exams but their selection would be based on SEE entrance score.
