Mewar University follows the reservation policy prescribed by the State Government of Rajasthan as well the Government of India. The seats are reserved for the special categories: Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), and More Backward Classes (MBC). The reservation percentages are as follows:
