Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For JEE Main Round 6 cutoff 2023, the opening rank was 14612 and closing rank was 18447 for the general category candidates under All India quota. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 24649 and 26699. Admission to Computer Science Engineering in NIT Uttarakhand is based on the scores obtained in the JEE Main entrance exam. B.E. / B.Tech	Candidate must have passed Diploma in relevant stream from a recognized Institute.
B.Arch	Candidate who have passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized Institute/ University can also apply. Candidates appearing for 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics in the current year may also provisionally appear for NATA-2023.
M.E./M.Tech	Candidate must have graduate in relevant stream from recognized board.
MCA	Candidate must have completed BCA/ Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent Degree with above mentioned marks from any recognised University/Institute. OR Candidate who have completed B.Sc./ B.Com./ B.A. with Mathematics at 10+2 Level or at Graduation Level can also apply. 45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category.
After 10th Diploma	Candidate passed 10th class/equivalent conducted by BSE, Odisha/equivalent are eligible to apply. The lower age limit is 14 years and there is no upper age limit.

The Shri Govind Guru University (SGGU) in Godhra, Gujarat, India has an ordinance that states that each practical batch for M.Sc should not have more than 12 students.
