Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across various streams such as Engineering, Scinece, and others. Dr YSR Horticultural University offers degree programmes in Agriculture and Horticulture. Not a lot of universities, offer specialised degree programmes related to these fields. Yes, University of Agricultural Sciences in Bangalore is worth considering if the student wishes to pursue a degree in Agricultural Sciences. The university is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). In 2024, NIRF ranked UASB 11th in the 'Agriculture' category and 90th in the 'University' category. The university has signed several MoUs with 10 institutes including Monsanto Research Centre- Bangalore, ICGEB- New Delhi, Unilever Industries Pvt. Ltd.- Mumbai among others. 

Yes, Galgotias University inducts candidates for the majority of its courses based on marks in the qualifying examinations.
