Admission criteria to Gauhati University is both, merit and entrance based and is different for all UG and PG programmes. 1) Those who do not appear for the JEE Mains or State Entrance tests, must appear for the Don Bosco University Graduate Entrance Test (DBU-GET). 

2)The DBU-GET for B.Tech. will examine the candidates on their proficiency in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at class XII level. the duration of the entrance test is 3 hours. you need at least 50% of aggregate marks in PCM or PCB from recognised booard with accredited institution.

3)B.Tech. tests will be conducted online, the date and time will be informed through e-mail and phone personally.
