I think that you should get an MBA after your M.Com. So far you are pretty knowledgeable (or supposed to be, at least) on Accountancy, Accounting standard, and to some extent corporate finance. An MBA will teach you much more. MBA programme will enable you with theoretical, as well as practical knowledge. It will also groom for the corporate jobs. An M.Com will never ensure a good job, but an MBA course from a good college will ensure the same. The scope of Management courses is increasing day by day. Yes, you need to complete your graduation first to appear for CAT exam. It's good that you have planned in advance. Just start preparing for CAT from your second year at B.Com.
