In order to crack a competitive entrance exam, you should follow the below tips:
1. First of all, make a time table with both short-term and long-term goals that would help you in timely preparation for the exam. A time table makes you more disciplined and helps you to get rid of haphazardness.
2. Know your syllabus well and divide them into 2 categories: the ones that seem easy and the ones that need your attention. Pick and revise easy subjects thoroughly. For the difficult ones, devote separate attention and work on them until they get on your tips. Time management will play an important role here.
3. Refer to previous years question papers and sample papers. Practice as much as you can to get a hang of the pattern of the questions being asked in the specific exam and quick resolution of question paper.
4. Maintain a balance between your study time and other activities. To prepare for competitive exams, set aside a fixed time for your studies. Discipline yourself and do away with distractions.
