One can concentrate more on ERP study and it is the need of the hour for advanced applications for a growing business having global presence. SAP, Oracle and Navision, etc. have been more focused and continuously engaged with ERP apps.
Know one thing, without a sound ERP system, company cannot excel. ERP is the spine of any enterprise. However advanced solutions these ERP companies have already launched, still there is a demand for newer applications. If technology advances, correspondingly ERP should also advance. Otherwise the business will fail. Who had thought, decades back, raw material will be procured from India, a few parts would be manufactured in China and assembled in Malaysia and sold in the US and having a distributing hub in the UK and main agent operating from Germany and the owner company is occupied in Italy? Imagine the complications? Now without a sound ERP, can this be possible? Will the end customer receive his goods intact for the competitive price, on time and best quality? Shouldn't we thank giant ERP companies for their robust applications to handle such intricate business scenarios and support complete procurement or sales cycle?
Executives want to see day-to-day reports in their cell phone. Yes, it is achieved already, but at what cost? How many companies have implemented? Why it is not made simple? Why can't we have plug and play solutions and Android phone? Think about it! There are many such inventions taking place and you be a part of it! Isn't it interesting and brilliant career?
