You have following options to work in IT companies to pursue your interests in ccmputers after pursuing Commerce stream:
(a) For technical roles in IT companies you can do BCA MCA if you have Maths as a subject in 10+2 stage. If you do not have Maths in 10+2 stage your choices of Universities and Institute where you can do BCA-MCA will be limited.
(b) You can join IT industry as a Business Analyst. You may specialize in a domain such as Finance, Healthcare, Travel and Transportation, education etc. In addition you can do Business Analyst certifications from IIBA or BCS. Certifications from IIBA or BCS are widely accepted across world in field of IT. Some domain experts also join as testers to become IT professionals. Lot of IT Project Managers grow from testing field which is important component of Software Development Life Cycle.
(c) You can also also do BBA-MBA and join IT industry in the field of Pre-sales support, Sakes and Marketing, Acoount management. Most of commerce graduates prefer this option by doing MBA IT.
In addition you can do generic MBA and join IT companies in support functions such as Human Resources, Finance, Administration etc. You may choose any of the above mentioned option based on your interests, personal traits and preferences.

After 12th, a student is eligible to take the foundation course. The examination can be taken twice a year, in June and December. Candidates who pass the foundation examination are eligible to seek registration.
It has 3 levels preliminary, intermediate and final level.
The final examination can be taken after 18 months of enrolling in the course and having undergone satisfactory postal or oral tuition for the particular group of the final examination. Enrolment is open throughout the year. For appearing in the June examination, enrolment is open up to September and for appearing in December examination, enrolment is completed by March.
Practical experience ranging from two to three years or management training of 15 months, and four months practical training in a company which is arranged by the institute is also required.
After qualifying in the final examination and undergoing the practical training, a candidate is eligible to be admitted as an Associate Member. Senior Associate members may be entitled to become fellows.
Admission is open to anyone who has passed the graduate from a UGC approved university or any other equivalent qualification or those who have taken the foundation examination.

1. M.Com: The course is an extension to B.Com and helps you gain a deeper insight into general functions of working of a business. Generally, those who want to do research work, undertake this course. An obvious progression would be to do an M.Phil followed by a Ph.D, depending on the level of expertise desired. Jobs available are teacher in schools and college.
On corporate side, you have opportunity in finance department of corporate to work as an analyst, research work, consulting, etc.
2. CA: A CA can be pursued along with under graduation and need not necessarily to be done post under graduation. This course help you to develop the level of expertise in accounts, tax, audit and assurance and consulting. At the intermediate level, one is required to do article ship, where in one can get and insight into these departments, thus align your job to your desire.
3. CS: These are the people, who ensure regulatory compliance of rules and regulations. Again like CA can be pursued along with the graduation, and is relatively easier than CA.
4. ICWA: Cost accountants, who controls and manages cost of an organization.
5. MBA: It is a post-graduation course, which helps and individual to build himself in array of things such that his overall personality is enhanced and he can better manage a various functions of an organization and probably with time build an understanding to manage the entire organization. In a B-school, one get number of opportunities to explore his talents in various field.
6. Law: With a little understanding of business law in B.Com and individual can get a brief exposure to the subject and probably decide, if he wants to pursue this or not.
Apart from these generic course, there are number of other course that an individual can pursue.
1) Actuarial science: It for those people who like risk management and like analytic. Understanding of economics and statistics would be necessary to pursue the course.
2) CFA: This again is a professional course on the higher side as per cost is concerned. This helps an individual to gain deeper understanding of corporate. It covers a broad range of topics relating to investment management, financial analysis, etc.

There are no set correct answers to these questions. Please understand that the interviewers are veterans in interviewing and a not-so-genuine answer can be easily identified by them. Hence, the key lies in introspecting about your life and coming up with your life story that inspired you to do MBA. That would get you the answer to why MBA. Coming to short term goal and long term goal, short term goal can be to successfully graduating from top IIMs and long term can be to gain expertise in your favorite specialization (do your homework beforehand). Mentioning long term goal to be CEO/MD of any company is not recommended as one can't be that specific within a given timeline and hence, can lead to backlash.
