Yes, if you are not interested in further studies and want to get a job right now, then you can prepare for competitive exams like bank exams (IBPS PO, IBPS Clerk etc.) , SSC CGL, railways, etc. In most of the competitive exams the required eligibility criteria is graduation.

To be an engineer, you need to have science with PCM (physics, chemistry, mathematics) background. So unfortunately, in your case, you're not eligible to be a software engineer.
However, If you had mathematics and computer as your subjects in 12th board examination, you can get for BCA (Bachelors in Computer Application), which is a 3 years course, followed by MCA (Masters in computer application) which is also a 3 years course. In case, you didn't have mathematics as a subject in 12th, then you can learn a course of your interest from reputed computer coaching institutes like NIITs etc.
