Any. choice should be his keeping in mind the subjects taught in the courses and his inclinations towards which subjects to study. M.com give dept knowledge of commerce while mba touch variety of subjects. it shold also depend on what career is he looking at. or if would also like to go for phd. the subject choice needs focus on all these direction.

Yes you can as maximum college required 50 to 50% marks if they conduct their on entrance. so don't worry and go for B.Com. all the best dear for your bright future.

As such no such thing exist which one must know before joinning MBA, its all upto how much you score in entrance test you have taken up, and your performance in GD and PI. that it nothing else.

One should pursue a career based on ones liking & interests. Having said this no qualification gives you a guarantee of good job as getting a good job is a result of multiple factors & many of these factors are independent of academic qualification.
