Basically, going for any course is depend upon ones interest as well as liking. Personal liking as well as interest varies from person to person.

As far as preference is concerned, it depends on the selection criteria set for the education or job that you wish to pursue. If you have a chance to do regular degree, do that, else IGNOU is the second best option.

This actually varies from region to region. While Indian CAs have good scope in gulf nations, companies in Canada or USA prefer domestic applicants over Indian CAs and is quite competitive. This is a fact so do not be discouraged. You can think of obtaining additional degrees. Also think about obtaining a CPA for which you must clear some vital examinations.
