Dear Mohammad,
Hons in any course means a more detailed study of certain subjects. So when you do a BCom Hons you study a few subjects with more depth increasing your competence in those areas.
Besides BCom and Hons there is also BCom Professional. It is an amalgamation of an ACADEMIC program called BCom and a PROFESSIONAL program called BBA.
In my opinion a BCom Professional is a far better substitute for a commerce student over a BBA. If you are a student of Delhi, another difference you would like to consider is that BCOM Hons in Delhi University is now a 4 year degree where as BCOM Professional in most places is still a 3 year degree.
