The eligibility criteria to get a seat in the B.Com (Hons) Economics and Accounts domain is that one has to have completed puc degree or 12th class equivalent.One should have scored 50% of the total marks in the puc exam or 12th class equivalent exam.Additionally students must have studied commerce, accountancy, mathematics or economics as compulsory subjects in their puc degree or 12th class equivalent.One needs to write the Karnavati University Admission Test (KUAL) which is the university entrance test to select the eligible students for admission.

The requirements for admission to Accounting and Commerce colleges vary from institution to institution. The following is widely acceptable for admission to colleges at the UG and PG levels:

  • Majority of accounting and commerce colleges need students to have at least a 60% average on their Class 12 exams in order to be admitted. 
  • In order to be qualified for admission to universities of accounting and commerce, students must have completed graduation by at least 50%.

There is no mandatory rule to take mathematics in class 12th. All you need to have passed in 10+2 in arts/science/arts from a recognized board with minimal 50% aggregate marks and the marks may vary in different colleges.

Hi,
Ofcourse you are eligible for getting enrollment in PG accounting Diploma course for 2 years even with 57% in University and 6.5 band score. The colleges just want a minimum of 50% marks in University graduation so just go for it and try harder in this Diploma.

Yes, you can apply for NDA exam while you are studying commerce in class 12th, but you will only be eligible for the army as the other two services give you a B.Tech degree for which Science stream is compulsory in class 11 & 12. But the following conditions should also be kept in mind:
1) Your age must be between 16.5 and 19.5 on the day of reporting to the academy, provided you make it in the final merit list and get the joining letter.
2) You must be able to provide the class 12th marksheet and Certificate on the day of reporting to the academy, or before the cutoff date as stipulated by the respective HQ.
