Hey Pankaj, You can have diploma in Automobile engineering from Government Polytechnic in your locality or some college offering diploma courses. Diploma in automobile engineering is a good option as various institutions are offering it.

Placements are good but don't be expecting salaries in the range of Rs.10 LPA+ none of the companies that come to the campus offer high salaries. Rs.3 LPA is the standard with some going above Rs.5 LPA.

First, since I don't know if you have written Comedk or not, so I am going to give you details of both. I don't have the exact cost of the seats since I was admitted 4 years ago.
Comedk: Rs.1.5+ lakhs/year not including the additional cost of hostels, exam fee and other stuff etc.

Depends on which branch you want to study. If you want E&C and you can get it with rank of 8k in Acharya, then you have already got a great deal but for other branches you can try for other colleges. All the best and please do refer the list of admission details for last year that will be posted in
