There is no deduction of marks for question not attempted in ACJ. The candidates can safely skip a question if they do not know the correct answer. They will be marked zero for skipping the question.
The total marks for ACJ entrance exam is 200 (100 marks each for Section I and II).

The ACJ entrance exam is conducted for admission to PG Diploma in Journalism and PG Diploma in Business and Financial Journalism in online mode only. It means tha candidates who have applied for the ACJ exam can appear for the test from any place, as long as they have access to computer or laptop with internet facility.

The Asian College of Journalism will inform the candidates who qualify the ACJ entrance exam round I (online test) via their registered email ID. The qualified candidates will be considered eligible for the secodn round, i.e., Personal Interview. The final result for selection of admission to the Asian College of Journalism will also be intimated at the registered email address.

No, there is no negative marking in the exam. There will be 100 questions each in both sections of the ACJ online test question paper (English Language and General Knowledge). Candidates should try to attempt all the questions asked in the exam.

ACJ Entrance Exam 2026 total score is 200 marks. There are two sections in the ACJ online test: English Language and General Knowledge. Each section of the question paper will be of 100 marks. The general knowledge section will be divided into two parts: current affairs and general knowledge.

The online interviews following the ACJ Entrance Exam 2026 will be either be conducted on the same day as the test or a day after it. The interview schedule will be shared with the examinees at least 3 days prior to the exam dates on their registered contact details (email ID and phone number).

The Asian College of Journalism (ACJ) will inform about the ACJ exam dates 2026 and duration for the online test and online interview on the registered email address of the ACJ entrance exam applicants for the academic session 2026-2027. Only candidates who will fill out and submit the ACJ entrance exam application form 2026 on or before the last date will be intimated about the exam date and time.

There are two rounds in the selection process for ACJ entrance exam 2026. The first round includes an online test of two hours. The ACJ 2026 question paper will include MCQs on English Language, General Knowledge, and Current Affairs. Candidates who will qualify the first round will be called for the second round, i.e., Personal Interview (PI). The PI round will test candidates on their skills for the selected PG diploma.

Qualified candidates from ACJ entrance exam online test, who appeared for the second round, i.e., online interview, will get the confirmation for their admission to the Asian College of Journalism to PG Diploma in Journalism or PG Diploma in Business and Financial Journalism, via email on their registered email address. The college will send out emails to the selected candidates within a week of the online interview.
