BTech Aerospace Engineering: Eligibility

Candidates aspiring to pursue BTech Aerospace Engineering must meet the following specified eligibility criteria:

1. Successful completion of 10+2 examinations with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, attaining an aggregate of at least 60% marks.

2. Prospective students are required to take the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) conducted by the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) during the designated examination periods spanning from January to May.

3. For those seeking admission to non-IIT colleges offering BTech Aerospace Engineering programs, the application and participation in other relevant entrance examinations are mandatory.

To be allowed to pursue the degree, an Aerospace Engineering aspirant must achieve the minimal qualifying standards. Check out the minimum requirements for Aerospace Engineering below:

• Passing higher secondary or Class 12 with a minimum of 60% marks (55.5% for SC/ST) in Science (Physics, Chemistry, and Math) is the minimum eligibility condition for pursuing Aerospace Engineering.
• MTech Aerospace Engineering courses are also available at the postgraduate level. For this, the individual must hold a Bachelor's degree (BE/B Tech or equivalent) with a minimum of 55% (50% for SC/ST).
• GATE scores are essential for admission to postgraduate and doctoral courses and research.
• Candidates with a three-four year engineering degree, a technical diploma, a five-year architecture degree, and a postgraduate degree in mathematics/science/statistics/computer applications are also eligible to study Aerospace Engineering.
