Hello Jaydip, yes there are no issues. But why waste four years of life? Automobile engineering is in itself very interesting subject with tremendous opportunities for research and employment. Best wishes to you.

Hello Mahipal, aah, that's great aim. But I am afraid it involves explosives and handling of such explosives at home is not permitted. Hence I can not provide you with any information. I will suggest that after graduation you can join DRDO to further your hobby and desire. Best wishes to you.

Hello Sharlet Walter, yes indeed. Do not worry. A diploma in mechanical engineering is one amongst many branches at the Diploma level that are eligible to get lateral admission in aeronautical engineering graduation. Do not worry. Best wishes to you.

Hello Shabana Shaik, you will find a table on the website of dte of tech education of your state. This table gives information about what branches of diploma are eligible for what branches of graduation in engineering via lateral mode. But let me advise you. In near future, prospects of employment in ECE branch are much brighter that those in aeronautical engineering branch.
Best wishes to you.

Hello Shreya, I have not heard any debarment due to low eyesight. But is it not correctable to 6/6 after wearing of glasses? These days there are laser surgeries that can correct this. Have you attempted this? Fundamentally speaking, there are restrictions to join as pilot in a flying school but not in engineering, to the best of my knowledge. Best wishes to you.

Hello Abhishek,
A student can definitely seek admission in engineering graduation after completion of diploma. However I have not heard of BE in aircraft engineering. There is of course aeronautical engineering and aerospace engineering. Or on the other hand there is BSc in aircraft maintenance. You can go for either of these after diploma.
Best wishes to you.

I am also an aspirant. If you are a keralite and had appeared for KEAM then its easy. You have to secure minimum of 60% in your 12th exams and secure a rank (around14,000-17,000) in KEAM. If you appeared for JEE Main then you have to secure a rank between 10,000-1,50,000 (to 3 colleges). Sorry that I can't provide further information (since I know much only).

Hi,
BE Aeronautical Engineering is a 4-year Under Graduate (UG) course with a specialisation in the field of aviation and aerodynamics. The minimum eligibility criterion which most of the institutes ask for is a score of at least 60% to 70% (relaxable for reserved category candidates) at 10+2 or equivalent level. Thank you.
