Hello Sahil,
It is a very interesting question that you are asking. Let me explain. Anything that we do in life is decided by us as easy, good or bad experience of that issue or that subject. For example, playing cricket, watching a drama, musical concert etc. Similar is the case with aeronautical engineering. If one has interest in the subject then it becomes very simple and interesting and feels good to study. But if it is imposed on the student then same subject appears to be very tough or bad. I would like to advise you that frankly speaking aeronautical engineering is like any other engineering branch. It feels very simple if you

Hello Utkarshji, At the moment placements for Aeronautical engineers is a bit of bother. One study revealed that many students go abroad for pursuing PG while another chunk goes for MBA. Yes it's a fact that presently in India finding job in core area is quite tough though students do get placed. But things are expected to improve in this area four years from now when your son will pass out. So please advise him not to worry on this front and concentrate on understanding the subjects. Remember there is always room at the top. Best wishes to you and your son.

Hello Abhishek,
Aircraft maintenance engineering course is actually not an engineering course but a student gets B.Sc degree after successfully completing the course and the examination. Yes, you can get admission in this course after passing your 12th and there are no entrance examinations for this course. So select your probable institution and apply for the admission. A student after getting employment gets a salary of about 6-8 lacs per annum as CTC.
Best wishes to you.

Hello Ashish,
Yes, you can definitely pursue aircraft maintenance engineering course. This is because even though you are saying that you are physically handicapped, what you have explained is that you are missing only half of your index finger and this will in no way affect your performance as an aircraft maintenance engineer. So do not worry and proceed to take admission and then subsequent DGCA certification before you start working on an aircraft as aircraft maintenance engineer.
