There are about 70+ BTech in Aeronautical Engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu. Out of these, 70 colleges are privately owned, and public/government owns only 1 college. TNEA and JEE Main are the main accepting entrance exams in top BTech in Aeronautical Engineering colleges in TamilNadu. Talking about B.E Aeronautical Engineering in term of placements the average package goes upto 5 LPA for the students from the course but as the course is newly added in the curicullum so there's not much data available on the same but the placements for the other courses are good so the placements for this course would also be good.

Indira Institute of Aircraft Engineering offers following B.Sc courses:
- B.Sc in aviation
- Aircraft Maintenance Engineering AME + B.Sc. Aviation in follwing two specialisations:
A - Aeroplane Turbine - Mechanical + B.Sc. Aviation
B - Avionics + B.Sc. Aviation
