For JEE and BITSAT, the minimum percentage required in 75% or you need to be in the top 20 percentile of your state board in case of JEE. Otherwise, some colleges do accept 60% for admission.

Aeronautical engineering is a niche branch of engineering. It does not have scope and opportunities equivalent to core branches of Engineering. But it still has good scope in PSU, Private sector, airlines, IAF, DRDO, ISRO, IT industry, etc.

Aerospace engineering is concerned with designing and building aircraft and spacecraft. Aerospace engineering can be divided into two specializations: Aeronautical engineers handle design, manufacturing and maintenance of aircraft, helicopters & UAV etc and astronautically engineers, who design spacecraft, rockets, satellites, and others. Aeronautical engineering was the original term for the field.
